What I spent my stimulus money on:

  1. gas
  2. food

So from what I last heard, I believe on National Public Radio, is consumer spending is up. Surprised? Well, you shouldn’t be. With the price of all forms of energy (including food) rising, we are cozying inĀ for a long budget tightening ride. Have you started to feel it yet?

And really, how bad is it going to be? Are we all going to revert back to college where we eat Ramen noodles because it’s all we can afford? Will it hit the middle class or the lower class the hardest? With the lack of federally backed college loans, will middle class families take the hit? I’m quite curious as to how the next few years are going to proceed.
